The Iranian embassy in Beirut responded in a statement on Sunday to an Israeli airstrike on a building in the Dahieh area of Beirut’s southern suburbs early Sunday morning.
The Iranian embassy said that “the areas of Zionist regime crime and aggression have recently increased and now include the southern suburbs of Beirut.”
The embassy added that the new Israeli invasion was brought about by Washington’s green light.
He further stated that this invasion threatens the lives of innocent civilians and the beloved Lebanese people.
According to the Iranian embassy, these despicable acts of aggression will never shatter the Lebanese people’s resolve for justice and weaken their firm resolve to stand up to oppression.
According to the latest reports, three people were martyred and 25 others were injured in the Israeli attack on Dahiyeh.
Regime forces claimed to have targeted senior commanders of the Hezbollah movement.
