The customs handles approximately 400 inbound and 400 outbound truck shipments daily.
It serves as an important corridor for the transportation of goods between the Persian Gulf, the Black Sea, and Europe, giving Iran easy access to Eastern European markets through Georgian ports.
Additionally, the route connects the Persian Gulf countries and India to Europe via Iran, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
As a result, this customs service will not only facilitate Iran’s exports, but will also enable the transportation of goods from Central Asia and the Caucasus countries to Europe.
