TEHRAN – Pakistan ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam visited Darul Uloom Hakkania, a prominent religious seminary in Kybah Paktanwa province, to express his repentance following the fatal terrorist attacks on Friday, March 1st.
The attack claimed the lifespan of the facility’s head Maulana Hamid ul Hak, leaving multiple casualties.
During the visit, Ambassador Mogadam met with Maulana Abdul Haq Sani, the son of a murdered clergyman, and conveyed his deep sympathy for Iran to his grieving family and religious community. Along with a delegation, he emphasized Iran’s condemnation of acts of fear and repeated Tehran’s unwavering support for Pakistan in the fight against extremism.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry has also issued a powerful statement denounced the attacks that occurred during Friday’s prayer at religious schools. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeir Bakaei condemned the violence and expressed his sadness to the victims’ families, people and the Pakistani government. He also wanted a quick recovery for the injured.
The idiots reaffirmed Iran’s firm stance on terrorism and violent extremism, and emphasized that such atrocities demand a unified local response. He called for greater cooperation between his neighbouring countries to dismantle the network of terrorists and eliminate the financial and logistical support behind these heinous acts.
The attack on Darul Uloom Hakkania has sparked widespread condemnation by Pakistan’s religious and political leaders for prompt justice. One of the nation’s most influential religious systems, the seminary has been at the heart of theological and political discourse for decades. Pakistani authorities have vowed to bring the person responsible to justice and strengthen security measures to prevent future attacks.
