During the meeting, two foreign ministers, Iran and Armenia, exchanged opinions on issues of bilateral ties and mutual interest.

Pezeschkian was officially welcomed at Yerevan at the Presidential Palace earlier today by Pashinyan on Tuesday.
The welcoming ceremony began with the national anthem of both countries, followed by the introduction of delegations. After the protocol, Pezeshkian and Pashinyan began bilateral talks.
Pezeschkian arrived in Armenia on Monday to the chief of a high-level delegation and marked the first stop on an official trip that took him to Belarus. His visits include meetings with Armenian leadership, Iranian expatriates and economic representatives, as well as signing documents to expand cooperation.
Before his departure, the president said strengthening ties with his neighbors and allies was one of Iran’s top priorities.
