The new head of Iran’s diplomatic mission in Jordan held a meeting with Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut before departing for the Arab state.
In a meeting with the country’s top diplomats on Saturday, Davoud Kalantari announced a report on Tehran-Amman’s bilateral relations and a proposed plan to strengthen and strengthen relations in the field of mutual interest.
Referring to Jordan’s position in the Western Asia region, he expressed satisfaction with contact and communication between officials from both countries, and Araguchi emphasized the need to further enhance existing relations.
He also highlighted the role of the country’s embassy in Amman in this regard, calling for joint efforts to protect the safety and stability of the region.
Karantari has previously served as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Secretary and Director of the Ministry of Political Advisors of the Iranian Embassies in Jordan, Kuwait and Iraq.
