Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci warned on Tuesday in a call with Kaja Karas, a senior foreign and security policy official and vice-president of the European Commission, on Tuesday against what is called the “disruptive approach” of European countries.
“We stopped our defence operations and showed good intentions after the Zionist regime’s invasion stopped. This action clearly shows that Iran’s Islamic Republic doesn’t want to start a war or continue doing so, unlike the warmth of Zionist groups.
Aragut criticized the positions of several European countries and the Directors of International Atomic Energy Agency, in the recent organisation’s governor’s meeting and subsequent resolutions, for not condemning the positions of several European countries and the Directors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, their continued support for the Zionist regime and the US aggression, and their unsacrifices of invaders targeting Iran’s peaceful nuclear capabilities. He warned that the continued destructive approach by some European countries would complicate existing conditions and make the path of diplomacy even more difficult.
Karas stressed on her part that there is no evidence that Iran’s nuclear program is expanding to build nuclear weapons. She also highlighted the need to find diplomatic solutions to resolve Iran’s nuclear issue and the support of continued efforts to de-escalate and establish stability in the region.
