This proud and exciting victory by our National Deaf Futsal Team was fantastic new news as the country has been achieved through difficult war days, the spokesperson said.
Officials called the achievement a reflection of Iran’s resilience, national solidarity and spiritual strength.
They praised the team for their determination and courage, and the championship was awarded a medal and reverberated a powerful message of perseverance, faith and unity from around the world.
Iran secured the title by beating Brazil 2-0, winning the 2025 World Deaf Futsal Championship held in Montesilvano, Italy from June 14th to 27th.
