Tehran, the capital’s Bakiyatara Hospital, uses modern angiographic techniques to treat vascular occlusions in the brain without the need for anesthesia or open surgery, the Fars News Agency reported.
As they age, they often face vascular problems, which traditionally require dangerous and invasive surgery, but many patients are unable to undergo such surgery due to factors such as older age and blood abnormalities, reports TV.
This helps Baqiyatallah Hospital’s upgraded angiography device to safely and efficiently remove vascular occlusion without opening the skull, providing a less invasive solution.
According to Mahrou Taherpour, head of the cardiovascular and postcasting unit at Baqiyatallah Hospital, the hospital’s third angiography device known as the “Artis Q” – a floor-mounted angiography system with flexible system positioning and a small footprint – features a large monitor compared to a 14-inch screen, compared to a large 56-inch monitor.
“Artis Q” is primarily used to treat post-arterial occlusion, as well as to treat non-hearted non-hearted treatments such as abdominal aortic aneurysms and acute stroke.
“In the past, this procedure was primarily used for blocked cardiovascular diseases, but other blocked containers were treated similarly to those in the brain.
