TEHRAN – Falshte Bagheli, a journalist for the Holy Defense News Agency and daughter of Iran’s senior commander, Mohammad Bagheli, marched early on Friday as a result of Israeli missile strikes over Tehran and other Iranian cities.
Bagheri, 28, was known for her commitment to promoting sacrifice and martial culture through reporting. After graduating from Communications at Aramitabatabai University, she began her media career in 2019, and soon became a prominent figure in the field of cultural journalism.
The Israeli attack, targeting both military and civilian sites, claimed the lives of several senior Iranian officials, nuclear scientists and civilians, including Falshite Bagheli and her father. The incident elicited widespread criticism from Iranian authorities and sparked a wave of sadness and anger throughout the country.
Bagheri’s Martian news came across in the midst of appreciation from media experts, officials and the public. Many took her to social media to pay tribute to her legacy and condemn Israel’s attacks.
Funeral arrangements for Farshteh Bagheri and Major General Mohammad Bagheri will be announced in the coming days.
The attack has pledged a critical response to the latest attack amid growing tensions between Iran and Israel.
