The 113th International Labour Conference (ILO) began on June 2nd in Geneva, Switzerland, with the participation of a tripartite delegation of workers, employers and government from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During his time in Geneva, the minister is expected to work with other labor ministers and representatives from various countries to discuss ways to address the challenges, advance social justice and promote appropriate work worldwide.
As the International Labour Organization (ILO), the conference is held annually and brings together three-party delegations from the organization’s 187 member states and many international observers and influential individuals.
Discussing innovative approaches to protecting workplace biological hazards, addressing informal employment, promoting decent work by promoting the transition to formal employment, are among the most important issues discussed in this conference edition.
