In an interview with Defapress, Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi, deputy coordinator of the IRGC Quds squad, explained Lebanon’s Hezbollah’s plan to disarm the “American Zionist Plan” and said, “It is true that Hezbollah’s resistance would not acknowledge this plan either.
Brigadi added that the weapon of resistance is the weapon of the Lebanese people and that “the issue of disarmament is not a new topic and is by no means practical” to protect the land against the attacks of the Zionist regime.
Referring to the military’s preparations after the 12-day war, Masjedi warned that the Islamic Republic of Iran would respond with full preparation and full force if the enemy intends to attack.
“Our military capabilities are increasing and we are ready to respond to any threat,” he emphasized.
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant, unprovoked attack on Iran, triggering a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people across the country, including military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary civilians.
The United States also took part in the war by bombing three nuclear sites in Iran with a serious violation of international law.
In response, Iranian forces targeted strategic sites across the occupying regions and Aldeid Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran managed to stop the terrorist invasion through successful retaliation operations against both the Israeli regime and the United States.
