The EU troika threat to trigger a snapback mechanism defined in the 2015 nuclear deal known as the JCPOA against Iran has been placed on the Iranian parliament’s agenda.
Apart from the E3 threat that creates a snapback mechanism, the Congressional National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has other topics on the agenda, including a plan to consider plans to strengthen the country’s border guards and studying aspects of security and foreign policy of issues related to Aaaaain trekking. Tehran is currently considering requests from three European countries to resume the nuclear association.
Talks between Iran and three European countries, including Britain, France and Germany, will resume next week, following reports from Western media suggesting that the government is aiming to lift sanctions.
Earlier on Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi announced in a post from X that he had a joint newsletter with E3 FMS & EU HR last night.
