Upon arriving at Islamabad International Airport, Farzaneh Sadegh and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by high-ranking officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Communications, as well as Chargé d’Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad, Navi Shirazi and others.
The two-day transport conference, which will be attended by several regional countries including the Islamic Republic of Iran and Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states, will open in Islamabad on Thursday.
During the event, Minister Sadegh will deliver a keynote address outlining Iran’s perspective on regional connectivity and highlighting the country’s vast potential in transport infrastructure and international transport corridors.
He will also meet heads of participating delegations, including Pakistan’s Minister of Communications and Commerce, to discuss strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation in transport and trade.
