TEHRAN – The second Holy Wat Horror Film Festival in Hollywood, California has announced the winners, including the Iranian short film “Corpusruptus” by director Saeed Amrifad.
Produced by the Kermanshah office of the Iranian Youth Film Association, the film won the award for best cinematography for Sohail Paryani, IRNA reported.
“Corpusruptus,” which was previously screened at the 42nd Tehran Short Film Festival, is a story about a schizophrenic whose psychic personalities form a family.
The cast includes Mansour Daichi, Shina Azizi, Dernia Amiran, Ghazal Shahabadi, Bita Jamali, Amimosen Rezaei, Haniyeh Hemmati, and Amirali Fouradi.
Founded in 2017, the Holywatt Horror Film Festival began with the goal of providing filmmakers with an opportunity to screen their films for audiences, with a focus on networking and collaboration.
Holywatt Horror Film Festival is the featured presentation of the PlastiCon Expo Presents Hollywood Horror Show.
