Tehranians gather at Imam Hossein Square on Thursday evening to pay tribute to President Reisi and Foreign Minister Amir Abdrahian.
The ceremony began around 4:00pm local time.
Iranian President Ebrahim Reisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdulahian were martyred in a helicopter crash in a province in northwestern Azarbaijan.
The helicopter carrying President Reisi and his accompanying delegation crashed in the forest of Dizmah, between the cities of Varzakan and Jorfa in East Azarbaijan.
Raeishi, Amir Abdlahian, East Azarbaijan Governor Marek Ramati, Tablis city’s Friday prayer leader, transporting members of Muhammad Ali al-e-Hashem and presidential bodyguard team Madi Musavi. Helicopter pilots, co-pilots and crews were also on choppers.
President Reisi and his companions have returned from the ceremony to launch a dam on the Aras River with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.
