Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard, commander of the air defense base at Khatam al-Anbiya, made a speech at a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Pourkhaghan, the attorney general of the military of the Republic of Iran.
“Air defense forces protect the country’s airspace with strength and are on alert both day and night,” General Sabahiferd said.
He also added that the army will continue to constantly monitor the enemy’s airspace and use their superior combat power and trust in the Almighty God to force the enemy to kneel in front of them.
A senior Iranian army official said on Sunday that the country will replace air defenses damaged in recent wars imposed by US Israel.
The Israeli regime launched an attack in Iran on June 13th, lasting for the next 12 days. With their overwhelming response to the Israeli regime’s invasion, the Iranian army was forced to call for a ceasefire from the regime and its key supporters. Iran said the troops will keep their fingers on the trigger in case the regime resumes aggression by violating a ceasefire.
