Mohammad Eslami, chairman of Iran’s atomic energy organization, arrived at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow on Monday. He is involved with Russian officials and leads a delegation to participate in Russia’s Nuclear Energy Week. Eslami was officially received to Russia by Iran’s ambassador to Iran, Kazem Jalali.
Previously, the Russian Embassy in Iran announced that the first comprehensive event, entitled World Atomic Week, was held as part of a celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry, bringing together the global nuclear community and the general public.
The themed activities will be held in Moscow and in major regional centres, with dedicated programs planned for the country’s nuclear cities. An important highlight is the World Atomic Week, which will be held in Moscow from September 25th to 29th, 2025.
