Talking to the Al Mayadeen TV network, Reza Najafi took responsibility for Tel Aviv if Tehran decided to quit the treaty.
“Whether or not we will withdraw from (Iran’s) NPT will depend on future developments.”
“The responsibility lies with Israel for any measures relating to the withdrawal from the NPT.”
He urged the IAEA’s Governor’s Committee to take serious action to condemn Israel’s aggression.
Iranian officials said the Israeli regime was under the illusion that Iran could not protect itself. Since June 13, Israel has targeted several Iranian cities, including the capital Tehran. Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, warned that the Zionist regime must wait for “severe punishments” for the attack.
The Islamic Republic’s troops have been carrying out fierce retaliatory attacks on occupied territory.
