At a meeting in Tehran on Monday with his counterparts in Zimbabwe, the Iranian minister praised Zimbabwe for his historic struggles with colonialism, racism and apartheid, noting that Zimbabwe’s efforts in these regions have gained a distinctive place in both Africa and in the broader international community.
The Defense Minister, who highlighted Africa’s special stance in Iran’s foreign policy, said this fact stems from the nature of the Islamic revolution. The Islamic Revolution is based on the support of independent states and the struggles of African countries to drive away the domination of hegemonic forces.
The Zimbabwean pastor expressed his sadness for her by the tragic explosion at Shahid Rajay port in southern Iran.
She emphasized that after the Islamic Revolution in 1979, relations between Iran and Zimbabwe entered a new chapter.
