The official representative of Tehran -Iran traveled to Minsk to observe the presidential election in Belarus at the invitation of the government.
The delegation led by the director of the Ministry of Interior in Iran has participated as an international observer to monitor the election process.
As part of their agenda, the Iran’s team visits the polling place in the capital of Minsk, evaluates the voting procedures, and ensures established regulations. This initiative is compliant with the Belarus Central Election Committee’s agreement.
The presidential election held on January 26 will be carried out under the Belarus Constitution, which defines the voting system directly. The selected president will continue the five -year term and continue the tradition of executive leadership selected by general voting.
The President is deemed to have been elected if more than half of the citizens participating in the election voting are in favor of him. More than 44,000 domestic and 500 international observers are monitoring election processes.
Five candidates, including the incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko, who have led Belarus since 1994, are competing for posts on the head of the state. His rival is the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Oleg Guide Bitch, the first secretary of the secretary of the Central Committee of the Central Committee, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Central Committee.
