In line with the country’s responsibility to believe in the development of Makran Coast and the need for the development of Chabahar strategic ports, IRISL has been able to increase the container cargo capacity of Chabahar port to approximately 90,000 TEUs over the past two years.
The first mega-sized container ships in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s shipping fleet will soon be docked at this strategic port, giving new meaning to the development of Chabahar, as one of the largest vessels of the fleet exists at this sea port.
The Islamic Republic provides the basis for Iranian shipping groups to develop this port, in addition to adjusting the freight rates for transporting containers from China, India, India and the United Arab Emirates to Chabahar, and vice versa, increasing the appeal of transporting cargo to this port for traders and merchants.
