Aspara, who is also the vice minister of economy, said the country’s non-oil trade registered 11.2% growth compared to the corresponding period last year.
He put 176 million tonnes of non-oil trade volumes in the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2024 to February 20, 2025), showing growth of 9.2% compared to the same period last year.
The country’s total value of $5.3376 billion in non-oil trade (excluded exports of oil, electricity, technology and engineering services), of which $6.3606 billion was related to products imported to the country during this period.
He went on to say that Iran has exported $6.6 billion, $3.3 billion and $2.1 billion worth of natural gas, liquefied propane and methanol overseas, respectively.
