The president of the Iranian Customs Agency (IRICA) has brought Iran’s non-oil trade exchange to $130 billion.
The Deputy Minister of Economy noted that Iran’s non-oil foreign trade in the previous Iranian calendar year (ends March 20, 2025) reached $13.0219 billion, showing a growth of 11.39% compared to last year’s response period.
Askari placed the country’s non-oil foreign trade volume at 191.229 million tonnes during this period, showing growth of 7.63% compared to the same period last year.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed to petrochemists exported from the country between March 21, 2024 and March 20, 2025, adding that Iran has exported more than $6 billion and more than $3 billion in natural gas and liquefied propane overseas, respectively.
China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India were Iran’s main export target markets during this period, he added.
