The facility was attended by Iranian military chief Major General Mohammad Bagheri and Aerospace Division Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.
Footage published in various Iranian news outlets showed Top Brass touring a vast centre that houses thousands of surgical strike ballistic missiles, including Kheybar Shekan, Martyr Haj Qassem, Qadr-H, Sejjil and Emad.
Among the projectiles, it is believed that the Iranian Kheybar Shekan-1 missile can defeat the Thaad missile system that has greatly prevented the US, but the Kheybar Shekan-2 has been developed to allow the system to be avoided. The projectiles in American missile systems are said to enjoy destructive capabilities for targets up to 200 kilometers (124 miles).
Martha Haj qassem in the missile was codenamed after General Kasem Soleimani, the top counterterrorism commander of the Islamic Republic.
QADR-H missiles, which can fly at 1,700 kilometers (1,056 miles), and Emad and Sejjil missiles are also rated effective medium-range ballistic projectiles in the country’s firepower.
“Iran’s iron fist is much stronger than before (today),” Bagelli said, speaking to facility staff during the tour.
’10x stronger than True Promise II’
“All (defensive) dimensions needed to generate (stronger) (military) functions that were deployed during Operation True Promise II have been created,” the commander added.
Last year, the Islamic Republic demonstrated its military power in the true Promise I and II operation, in which a retaliatory strike was launched in response to Israel’s invasion.
The operation, carried out using hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones, demonstrated Iran’s ability to attack Israeli military and intelligence message targets with surgical accuracy.
Iranian officials emphasize that the country deployed only a small portion of its firepower during double retaliation.
Bagheri further noted that the pace at which the Islamic Republic was developing its defensive power was much faster than the enemy’s recovery.
“The enemy will undoubtedly fall behind this balance of power,” officials argued that the Iranian military remains on a course of further development, strengthening and empowerment.
