Tehran – The popular Iranian Quran program “Mafel” is currently being held in Indonesia.
Organized by the cultural obsession of Indonesia’s Iranian Islamic Republic, the programme will begin on Friday and will be held for five days, Mehr reported.
Two international scouts from Iran, Ahmad Abolukasumi, and Hamed Shakernejad, host of the acclaimed programme “Mafel”, will visit Indonesia to host various programs in collaboration with national organizations and the Koran elite, the report added.
Mohamadretsa Ebrahimi, the Indonesian Iranian cultural attaché who manages the event, emphasized that efforts to implement the initiative focus on hosting programs at major mosques in Indonesia.
“That’s why Imam is Indonesia’s Minister of Religion, Istiklal Mosque, the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, and the Al-Azar Mosque, the branch of Egypt’s famous Al-Azar Mosque, have been chosen to hold this magnificent Qur’an meeting.”
The presence of approximately 280 million Muslims in Indonesia has increased the importance of the Qur’an activities, he said.
“In addition, various organizations in the country are tirelessly working to develop talent based on the Qur’an culture. Therefore, this year, the Iranian Cultural Attache office has placed a special emphasis on Qur’an activities and cultural interactions centered around the Holy Qur’an,” he added.
Emphasizing the special status of the Holy Month of Ramadan among the Indonesian people, Ebrahimi added that during this period, a variety of programs will be held that revolve around the Holy Qur’an in various parts of Indonesia.
He highlighted the cultural and linguistic similarities shared by Iran and Indonesia.
“In the realm of religion, the Holy Qur’an serves as an important point of commonality between the two countries. Despite the challenges faced by bringing the “Mafel” group to Indonesia, we have achieved this amazing event in collaboration with Iran and Indonesian organizations. ”
He also said that one of the important features of the assembly is its introduction to unity between Shia and Sunni Muslims.
“The Indonesians know Iran’s cultural capabilities, but there is limited awareness of religious commonality between the two countries. The purpose of this Quran gathering is to draw closer to the hearts of Muslims from both countries.”
The Holy Qur’an, he said, is the axis of unity and coexistence among various denominations. The excellent and shocking programme, “Mahfel,” has gained support amid a diverse movement in Indonesia, and has exploited the presence of these two licates to promote unity among Muslims in the two countries. ”
He pointed out, Iranian groups will spend five days in Indonesia where they will implement the programme in the fascinating form of “Mahfel” with the involvement of Indonesian elites in four cities.
He explained that meetings with senior Indonesian officials, including the Minister of Religion Affairs and other relevant authorities, are part of the “Mafel” group’s itinerary.
Additionally, over 100 journalists will attend the program and will be broadcast on reputable, widely viewed state and private television networks. Additionally, press and print media outlets will cover the event extensively.
Famous for his readings of the International Qur’an in 36 countries, Ahmad Abolukasumi brings extensive experience and enchanting presence to the program. As a war veteran, the beautiful readings and charming attitude of the Abolican cicadas resonate with the audience, especially the youth and teenagers.
Hamed Shakernejad, a top-ranked contestant at Saudi Arabia’s International Coranic Competition, has gained popularity among young people for his distinctive reading style. Shakernejad’s dynamic approach adds diversity to the “Mahfel” program and attracts great attention.
The “Mahfel” program stands out with a diverse lineup of individuals from various disciplines, setting it apart from traditional Quran-centric shows. In addition to the Quran memoirs and scouts, the program incorporates group songs, readings and declarations, adding unique talent and energy to captivate viewers and keep the program dynamic.
Carefully crafted rhythms and various topics, coupled with the expertise of the host and editorial team in the formation of rhythmic structures, ensure a seamless transition from slow, paced moments to vibrant segments, preventing monotony and fatigue.
By introducing participants from various countries, Mahfel aims to provide a global perspective and introduce diverse cultural expressions. Including individuals from different countries emphasizes the role of the Quran as a united force and promotes solidarity and interconnectivity among Muslims around the world.
