According to the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture (ICCIMA) website, 85 trade delegations from Iran’s private sector departed for Oman on Monday.
The delegations sponsored by the Iranian Chamber of Commerce include representatives from knowledge-based companies specializing in the technology and engineering services, the food industry, mining, artificial intelligence, petrochemicals, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and tourism sectors.
Jamal Rajigi Jafro, chairman of the Iranian Mahman Joint Chamber of Commerce, said Omani President Paseshkian and Sultan Haisam bin Tarik will be present in addition to the Iranian Mahman Business Opportunity Meeting scheduled for Wednesday.
A meeting is also planned between Oman’s Commerce Minister and the president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce.
