Major General Abdulrahim Musavi, chief of staff of Iranian forces, said during his visit to the tactical headquarters of the IRGC ground forces on Wednesday, he expressed his satisfaction with the comprehensive preparation of the IRGC ground forces to firmly defend Iran’s independence, security and territorial liability for potential threats.
He also praised the vigilance of the Iranian army, praised their historical experience, especially the eight years of sacred defense and the 12 days of imposed war, saying, “Our defense and preparation for battle have reached a stage where our enemies, including the idea of new invasions, have prevented them from making mistakes.”
The top public described defense and military capabilities enhancement across all domains as a permanent strategy.
Major General Mousavi emphasized that these strategies will ensure sustainable security and strengthen Iran’s deterrent defenses against all forms of attack.
On June 13, the Zionist regime launched a war of attack on Iran, targeting military, nuclear and residential areas for 12 consecutive days. The US later escalated the conflict on June 22 by hitting three Iranian nuclear sites in Natanz, Fordau and Isfahan.
Iranian military provided immediate and powerful responses. The IRGC Aerospace Force carried out 22 retaliatory missile strikes and Operation True Promise III, causing significant damage and great losses to cities throughout the occupying territories.
In retaliation for the US attack, Iranian forces also targeted Al-Dade Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military facility in West Asia with a barrage of missiles.
The conflict ended on June 24th, when the ceasefire took effect.
