Tehran – Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Seiyed Reza Salehi Amiri and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic discussed ways to enhance cultural cooperation between the two countries.
In a meeting with Ontalap Onalbayev on Saturday, Salehi-Amiri extended the one-month visa cancellation period from the 14th, requiring direct flights between many cities as a strategic measure in this regard, the IRNA reported.
Referring to Kazakhstan’s historical background and cultural wealth, the Minister emphasized the new horizon of cooperation in line with cultural diplomacy.
He urged the need to edit some strategic notes of understanding to enhance cultural connections.
The Minister called the introduction of tourism potential in both countries an effective measure in strengthening people-based relationships.
He compiled the investment package for the construction of a five-star hotel, and proposed to invite top cultural personalities in Kazakhstan to Iran to promote cultural exchange.
Referring to Iran’s capabilities in the craft sector, he declared that the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts is ready to hold a joint cultural and artistic exhibition in both countries.
He called the above scales an effective step to deepen mutual understanding, cultural dialogue and national proximity.
Evaluating the cooperation of the Kazakh government in the global registration of Knowles as an identity element of the regional communal civilization, he emphasized promoting cooperation on the registration of UNESCO’s joint heritage.
He called the exchange of experience and knowledge in the fields of historical monuments, archaeology and renovation of specialized training as a pillar of sustainable cooperation between the two countries.
The Kazakh ambassador also praised Iran’s civilized richness and cultural, historical and natural charm. He emphasized the government’s will to promote full ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Onalbayev gave the news that Kazakhstan is fully prepared to promote connections with Iran in the fields of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts.
