The 100th naval combat fleet of the Islamic Republic of Iran, made up of Buscher and Lavan warships, arrived at the port of Mumbai and was warmly accepted by the Iranian Consulate General, the Iranian National Oil Company, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s transport line, Iranian Airlines, and Commander of Indian Nabilly.
This naval visit is part of a broader mission to convey a message of peace and friendship to the countries of the Indian Ocean, the Sea of Oman and the Persian Gulf. Furthermore, it serves as an educational journey, allowing cadets at Iran’s Naval College of Imam Khomeini to gain practical experience.
Several programs are planned during the fleet’s stay in Mumbai, including high-level naval conferences, visits to education, culture, historic sites, and friendly sports competitions.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry also expressed a sincere appreciation to Indian officials for their warm invitations and hospitality.
