Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnabi, Director-General of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI), estimated that the country’s total non-oil exports from March 21 to September 22, 2024 were $25.922 billion.
During this period, Iran’s exports of non-oil products recorded an increase of 6% compared to the same period last year.
At a press conference on the eve of the 29th National Export Day, he said that last year (ending March 20, 2025), Iran’s non-oil exports reached $57 billion, an increase of 15.8% from the previous year, an unprecedented year in the history of the country’s non-oil exports.
Dehgan Dehnabi then pointed to the products imported into the country during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21 to September 22, 2024), noting that Iran imported $33.463 billion worth of non-oil products into the country during this period.
From March 21 to September 22, 2025, Iran’s imports of non-oil products amounted to $28.367 billion, a 15% decrease compared to the same period last year, the TPOI chief added.
