Mohammad Sadegh Ghannazadeh, Deputy Director-General for International Business Promotion at TPOI, explained the non-oil import and export statistics, highlighting that the country’s non-oil goods exports from March 21 to October 22, 2025 reached nearly $32 billion.
He listed the products imported into Iran from March 21 to October 22, 2025, noting that Iran imported approximately $34.5 billion worth of products during this period.
The country’s non-oil exports are on the rise, it said, adding that the organization aims to significantly increase export value before the end of the current Iranian calendar year (ending March 20, 2026).
Elsewhere in his remarks, Mr. Ghanazadeh said that the TPOI strives to promote trade relations with regional and neighboring countries, highlighting that several trade agreements with neighboring and Eurasian countries have been approved within the framework of preferential tariffs.
TPOI officials stressed that the organization has signed preferential trade agreements (PTAs) with countries including Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to facilitate foreign trade.
Ghanazadeh added that Iran’s main export markets during this period were China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Afghanistan.
