Mir Hadi Seyedi, Advisor for International Affairs of the Organization for the Promotion of Trade in Iran, highlighted that non-oil exports to Iranian member states from March 21 to September 22, 2025 grew by 16% compared to the same period last year.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Seyedi cited the achievements of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union, saying that over the past five and a half years, Iran’s exports to member countries have increased from about $600 million to $2 billion.
According to the figures, Iran’s non-oil exports to alliance members have more than tripled in the past five and a half years, the TPOI official added.
He further said that over the past five and a half years, the total amount of trade between Iran and EAEU member states has ranged from about $2.5 billion to about $6 billion.
He expressed hope that Iran’s participation in important treaties such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will pave the way for promoting trade with these countries in the future.
