Speaking at Merabad airport before departure, Pezeshkian said that the Arab and Islamic foreign ministers had already met in Doha to investigate Israeli attacks on Qatar.
Pezeshkian emphasized that Israel had no awareness of boundaries or prohibitions about its actions, and pointed out that it had attacked Lebanon, Syria, Qatar, Iran, Yemen and Iraq. He added that the administration is acting with immunity and is supported by the US and several European countries.
Qatar’s capital, Doha is holding an emergency summit for Arab and Islamic leaders to provide a collective response to the recent Israeli invasion against Qatar.
The emergency meeting is being held under highly sensitive regional and international circumstances, following the recent Israeli attack on Qatar. This is considered an important turning point not only relates to the Palestinian issue, but also in broader political developments throughout the region.
