“The military strike against Iranian military base “Aldeid” had exercised self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter in response to the US’s provocative attack on Iran’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty that took place on June 22, 2025,” Bakai wrote on his X account on Tuesday.
“This act of self-defense had nothing to do with its friendly neighbor Qatar, as it enjoyed a good, deeply rooted relationship,” he added.
“Iran is fully committed to the tenuous policy regarding Qatar and its other neighbours,” he noted.
“We are determined to not create divisions between us/Israel’s criminal attacks and malicious policies against Iran,” he emphasized.
Iranian troops launched missiles at a US military base in Qatar for a US strike at Iranian nuclear facility. On Monday evening, a powerful missile was launched at U.S. Al-Udaid Air Force Base in Qatar as part of Operation Conqueror.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement that the headquarters of the US Air Force Central Command, the largest strategic asset, has been attacked.
The IRGC said the message to the Iranian White House and its allies was clear. Relying on the Almighty God and supporting it by the Iranian people, the Islamic Republic of Iran has said it has not left a violation of the integrity, sovereignty and national security of its territory.
The Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) said the number of missiles fired at U.S. Al-Udeid Air Force Base in Qatar equals the number of bombs that the US troops used to target Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The US took a strike against three Iranian nuclear facilities on Sunday, becoming the direct party in the war of aggression that the Israeli regime fought against Iran on June 13.
The Israeli regime attacked Iran, including Tehran’s residential buildings, in an unattacked act of attack on June 13th, overnight. When the house was hit directly, the civilian died.
