According to IRICA, Iran and 15 neighboring countries exchanged 64,875,000 tons of non-oil products (valued at approximately $38,154 million) from March 21, 2025 to October 22, 2025.
The report noted that neighboring countries have always been considered Iran’s largest export market due to geographical, cultural and logistical advantages.
The above figures show that Iran’s trade with its 15 neighboring countries has been on a growth trajectory during this period.
During this period, trade between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has also grown significantly.
According to the study, Iran and EAEU member states exchanged 4.9 million tons (valued at $2.2 billion) of non-oil products during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (starting from March 21, 2025).
Alliance member countries have become important trading partners for Iran in recent years, and joining the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Iran paves the way for expanded cooperation with this economic bloc.
