He made a statement during a briefing session on his upcoming visit to China, stressing that Iran is pleased to establish serious and constructive cooperation with China in advance of the country’s strategic initiatives.
During the session, the most important aspects of the relationship and cooperation between the Islamic Republic and the Republic of China in various fields were discussed.
In addition to reviewing the latest status of previously inked contracts and projects implementation between the two countries, expert proposals were reviewed at the expert level on solutions to accelerate the implementation of bilateral agreements.
The President called Iran-China relations “strategic,” saying, “given its important role in regional and international spheres, Iran is China’s trustworthy partner in a variety of political, economic and international spheres, especially in the term countering unilateral opposition.”
Referring to Iran’s regional and global geopolitical significance, Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran’s Islamic Republic is interested in serious and constructive cooperation with China.
