Khalid Janju, Supervisor of Western Azarbaijan Oblast Customs, said that in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 and September 22), 2.544 million tons of non-oil products (valued at $1.658 billion) were exported from the customs office of the province to 73 countries.
He highlighted that the main products exported abroad from the state during this period were steel ingots, tiles, ceramics, ribbed rebar and sponge iron.
The ministry’s products are exported to countries such as Iraq, Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Armenia and Afghanistan, Janju added.
He then pointed out the products being imported into the state’s customs office, adding that 218,000 tons of goods valued at $597 million were imported into the state’s customs office from 48 countries around the world.
