In a meeting with leaders of several countries in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, the Iraqi prime minister emphasized the need to reduce tensions in the region and resolve differences between Iran and the West over the nuclear issue through dialogue.
Mr. Al-Sudani met with the kings of Jordan and Bahrain, the head of the Palestinian Authority, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Cyprus, the prime minister of Germany, and the prime ministers of the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Armenia.
The Iraqi Prime Minister stressed the need to reduce tensions in the region and other parts of the world, and called for intensified dialogue and the creation of solutions based on international law to resolve everyone’s concerns, including differences between Iran and the West over the Iranian nuclear issue and other issues.
Al-Sudani and the heads of state stressed the need for major countries, Arab and international organizations to take action to rebuild Gaza and provide basic requirements for Palestinian civilians.
