Myanmar’s powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake killed more than 1,000 people as the deaths continue to climb in rescue operations. Local sources said 1,002 people were killed on Saturday, another 2,376 were injured and 30 others were missing.
Esmail Baghhai, a spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed his sadness over the powerful earthquake.
