Tehran – Pirhosine Koliband, head of Iran’s Red Crescent Association (IRCS), and Tajikistan’s ambassador Zohidi nizomiddin shamsiddinzoda, explored the avenue to promote collaboration in the field of health and humanity.
At a meeting on Wednesday, the two staff stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation, including reopening the IRCS centre in Tajikistan. Nizomiddin Shamsiddinzoda has announced that Tajikistan is ready to promote control and legal procedures in this regard, the IRCS website reported.
Tajik officials continued to ensure that these negotiations strengthen the relations between the two countries in the field of health and foster cooperation on humanitarian assistance.
On his part, Kolivand emphasized the medical capabilities of the IRCS and said, with mutual support, the IRCS Centre will soon resume operations in Tajikistan.
