In a message marking Wednesday’s IRGC Navy Day, Major General Parkpur described the IRGC navy as a symbol of strong faith, intellectual resistance and deterrence, calling it the guardian of the Persian Gulf and surrounding waters.
He welcomed the transformation of the IRGC Navy into an “indisputable strategic and deterrent force” built on dedicated personnel, strong leadership and advanced technology developed within the country.
The commander highlighted the capabilities of the IRGC Navy through surface and underground warfare, missiles, unmanned systems, electronic domains and cyber domains, and said these strengths allow its power to demonstrate deterrence to the enemy and ensure regional stability.
He emphasized that the IRGC Navy remains prepared for peak combat, intelligence and operational readiness, warning the enemy of the Islamic Revolution that false movements and hostile actions in Iranian waters would trigger immediate and overwhelming responses.
“The miscalculations by them (the enemy) in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, or the islands of Iran will encounter a critical, immediate, crushed, regretful response,” the general warned.
