People in Dezhul city in southwestern Iran have given Lieutenant General Goramari Rashid, a senior commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), resting (while assassinated by Israel).
A large number of people attended the ceremony on Monday to rest the assassinated commander of the headquarters of Qatam al-Ambia, Sab-e-Kabha, the holy temple of Imam Reza (Pbuh), one of the eighth Shia Imam brothers.
Both advisors to the leaders of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Rarijani and Mohammad Mokbah attended a ceremony in Dezhul, in Huzestan Province.
The mourners chanted “death to America” and “death to Israel.” They also recited slogans, reaffirming that they would never succumb to humiliation and expressed strong support for the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah seyed Ali Khamenei.
Gholamali Rashid and several more Iranian military officials were assassinated on a targeted strike by Israel after launching a regime war on Iran on June 13. Many nuclear scientists were also assassinated, but another 600 people were killed during the 12-day attack.
A large funeral procession took place on Saturday, including Tehran, the top commander, who was the 60 casualties of the attack in the capital.
A day later, some of those commanders lay down to rest in some cities.
Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the IRGC, was placed at Shah Abdul Azim Shrine in Lei, Tehran.
Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, and Major General Mahmoud Bagieri, commander of the Aerospace Missile Force, were buried in the capital cemetery Bisht e Zafra.
The burial ceremony of Ali Shadmani Chufor, who replaced Rashid as commander of Hatam Al Ambiyah headquarters, was held in his hometown of Hamedan.
Israel began the invasion three days before planned consultations between Iran and the United States over Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
Washington joined the attack on June 22 when it bombed three Iranian nuclear sites: Fordaw, Isfahan and Natanz.
Iranian forces responded strongly to the US and Israeli attacks, making important areas throughout the Israeli occupation area prominent and causing great damage to them. The attack ended following the ceasefire announced on June 24th.
