The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a statement condemning the recent crimes committed by the Israeli regime for targeting the martians of journalists and media workers in Gaza, particularly six brave and dedicated journalists on the frontline, including Anas al-Sharif. The IRGC described the law as a direct attack on human principles and freedom of expression.
The statement emphasized that this oppressive action targets not only human rights but also the rights of the state to know the truth. The journalists emphasized that in today’s cognitive war, they have a great responsibility to confront lies and distortions in pens and cameras, and to convey consciousness to the world.
The racist and predatory Zionist regime has always tried to silence the voice of truth, but again through such crimes it has shown that it is unable to hide the medieval atrocities and inhumane and brutal nature of the Middle Ages, according to the statement. Journalists at the heart of the conflict, especially in Gaza, are essentially crimes that aim to impose a shot of freedom and a “media blackout” and deny the truth.
The IRGC further stated that by assassinating journalists and media experts, this vile and criminal administration is trying to block the path of information dissemination, awareness and providing a message of truth, while trying to hide the bitter reality of crime in Gaza.
