TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolutionary Security Force (IRGC) in Karman province announced on Monday the successful demolition of a coordinated “anti-security” network that allegedly causes anxiety and public disability across Iran.
According to a statement released by Kerman’s IRGC Public Relations Bureau, the group was actively working to plan and establish an operational cell aimed at causing chaos in the country.
“Through accurate monitoring and information efforts by the IRGC Intelligence Organization in Carman, an organized network focused on planning and mobilizing broad disruptions has been identified and removed,” the statement said.
The network’s key operatives were arrested during simultaneous operations in multiple states following a warrant issued by the Carman Prosecutor’s Office. Officials say the group acted with the explicit intention of destabilizing national security.
Although details have not been made as to the suspects or the scope of their activities, the IRGC emphasized continued vigilance against similar threats.
