Tehran – The country’s national broadcasting station, Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), is under attack for attacks caused by hostile elements.
Many of the IRIB employees were injured in an Israeli missile attack that struck the main building of the Tehran organization, according to Hassan Abedini, the assistant directorate for political affairs at IRIB. “The glass building is currently in firefighting efforts, and initial assessments indicate some injuries among staff,” Abedini confirmed. “Many employees were able to evacuate the building right after the strike.”
In a statement issued shortly after the incident, IRIB President Dr. Payman Jeberg condemned the attack and framed it as a sign of the strategic impact of Iran’s media efforts on the global information battlefield.
“In the name of God
We inform the noble people of Iran that Iran’s Islamic Republic was a target of brutal attacks by Zionist enemies some time ago,” Jeberg said.
He emphasized that such attacks only strengthened the resolve of Ilibu officials.
“The brave sons and daughters of our nation in national media have declared in an unshakable voice that our resolve to play a critical role in the hybrid war launched by the Zionist enemy has increased,” Jeberg added. “Our will to defeat strategic media defeats to a global front of distrust remains unshakable.”
