Israel has been attacking throughout the Gaza Strip since dawn on Friday, according to medical sources cited by Al Jazeera.
At least 30 people have died in Gaza City alone. There, residents are being pushed west after being warned by a correspondent Tareq Abu Azzoum, who is warned that it is a “good of time” before the area faces “mass destruction.”
Israeli forces are targeting displaced people who are refuge in tents and temporary structures. In Thal Al Hawa, Maha Afana said that after the drone strike, her son and daughter discovered something lifeless.
At Nusairat camp in central Gaza, Umnabil al-Aish lost his relatives in an attack on makeshift shelters, and the Palestinians were “starved, taken, evacuated, expelled, killed… whilst the world is watching.” An airstrike on Deir El-Balah’s vehicle killed four people, Al Jazeera reported, citing Al-Aqsa hospital.
The escalation comes amid a continuing Israeli attack to seize Gaza city, which began in late August. This is a campaign that has already avoided thousands of people in areas that continue to face heavy artillery fire.
