Gaza’s civil defense agency announced the death toll on Sunday, adding that Israel will attack targeted homes and shelters for displaced people.
Meanwhile, the report says north of the Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza is one of the targets of Israeli strikes, according to Press TV.
At least 10 thirsty people, including six children, were killed, and 16 were injured as they waited for drinking water, the report added.
The Gaza Strip faces a rapidly worsening crisis in access to safe drinking water caused by the Israeli war of massacres over Palestinian territory.
Most of Gaza’s wastewater treatment plants, sewage systems, reservoirs and pipes were destroyed during the Israeli attack, but the regime has shut down power to major desalination plants.
Furthermore, the Gaza Strip water production and sanitation systems are fuel shortfall amid in inhumane Israeli lockdowns.
“The entire water system has collapsed. There is no enough clean water to meet the needs of Gaza’s population. The people we meet have no food, and now there is no water.”
Israel unleashed the brutal onslaught of Gaza on October 7, 2023. This is after Hamas Resistance Group implemented historic operations against occupying groups in retaliation for the intensified atrocities against the Palestinians by the regime.
