Medical sources in Gaza reported on Monday that Israeli forces targeted Gaza, particularly multiple locations across humanitarian aid centres.
The wounded civilian was rushed to Al-Ahli Hospital after Israeli forces attacked the Al-Zawiya market after attacking the neighbours of Zeitoun and Sabra, Press TV reported.
The injured were lying on the ground, many of them children, as there were not enough beds to accommodate them all.
The victims included Palestinian aid seekers who were killed near a food distribution centre run by the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) north of Rafa.
Israeli forces regularly shot Palestinians near the distribution centre as the Israeli and US-backed GHF took over the limited delivery of aid in Gaza in late May.
According to the Gaza government’s media office, Israeli forces have killed more than 580 people and injured more than 4,000 people near the GHF centre.
A recent report by Israeli Haaretz newspaper quoted the fact that an unknown Israeli soldier has been ordered to “disperse” to those seeking Palestinian aid.
Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis in the strip has worsened as infants die every day due to nutrient deficiencies.
Christy Black, an Australian nurse who volunteers in Gaza City, said the hospital she is based in desperate need of medical supplies, including prescriptions for pregnant women who need nasogastric feeding. It’s gone from the nutrients of lactic acid and the nutrients that baby formula needs.
