In a speech aired on Wednesday, Qassem emphasized that Israeli ideology, actions and ambitions put Muslims, Christians and Jews at risk, destabilizing both local and global peace.
He noted that the administration’s ideology, actions and vision puts both regional stability and global peace at stake.
Qassem said the administration has not stopped aggression since the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire agreement came into effect, violating the agreement more than 3,700 times.
He emphasized that the administration must comply with the terms agreed with Lebanon and halt the act of aggression.
The Hezbollah leader said the movement was not threatened and would not accept Israel to surrender its weapons, the media reported.
Qassem firmly rejected the request that Hezbollah be disarmed, claiming that Lebanon’s defense and sovereignty was an internal issue and immune to external pressure.
“We will not submit to humiliation, abandon our land or be threatened,” he said, and the debate about Hezbollah’s weapons is a domestic issue and there is no role in Israel to decide the order.
Qassem said Hezbollah’s resistance is a defense against strategic threats affecting several countries, including Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria and Jordan.
Describing Israel as an existential danger, Qassem said, “The threat to Israel is not limited to Muslims. It also puts Christians and Jews at risk.”
He criticised the administration’s ideology and actions as a risk to global peace, calling for those who would avoid Israel’s resistance to humanitarian grounds.
“It is impossible to coexist with the expanding, invasive danger,” he warned, highlighting Hezbollah’s resistance as rooted in future generations of human, Islamic and national values.
