Hebrew linguistic media is expected to launch a ground attack (codenamed Gideon’s Tank LL) after a massive evacuation in Gaza city, but Israeli forces launched the attack late Tuesday by killing 16 Palestinians, including women and children.
The Israeli regime said it had attacked more than 150 targets in Gaza since the start of the ground attack, with thousands of Palestinians forced to flee a single coastal road to the heart of the strip.
Gaza’s Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli forces also hit Al Lantisi Children’s Hospital in Gaza late Tuesday night, hitting the upper floors three times in a row.
The facility is the only specialized children’s hospital in the Strip and will treat 80 patients across oncology, dialysis, respiratory and gastrointestinal care, including 12 important cases.
After the bombing, 40 patients and their families fled in fear, but another 40 people remained with staff as they warned that the attack was part of Israel’s systematic campaign to cripple the health system in Gaza.
